HARROGATE BOROUGH COUNCIL

DRAFT LOCAL PLAN ~ ADDITIONAL SITES

During a six week consultation between 14 July and 25 August 2017

Harrogate Borough Council is holding a six week public consultation on draft plans for: additional housing and employment allocations; amended draft housing allocations; Gypsy and Traveller sites; sites for educational facilities; and a new settlement at Green Hammerton.

 GINETTA TRACK USE AT TOCKWITH AIRFIELD

 Please note the following dates have been booked for the Car Track to be used at Tockwith Airfield.

April 29th   May 20th/21st & 27th/28th  July 1st/2nd  August 5th/6th 12th/13th   September 2nd/3rd 30th October 28th November 4th/5th & 18th

Serving as a Parish Councillor is a great way to help your community and get involved in what's going on around you.

We currently have two vacancies on the Parish Council and welcome hearing from anyone interested in taking on this role.

 COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH 

Volunteers needed to help with our Community Speed Watch ~ if you can spare a few hours, your help will be much appreciated.

It is well known that speeding through our country villages is becoming more frequent.

PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLATORS (PAD) - Tockwith and Cowthrope Villages

Public Access Defibrillators  have now been installed in both Tockwith and Cowthorpe Villages. Please click here to read more.

COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS   (CFR)

Yorkshire Ambulance Service operates a Community First Responder Scheme where volunteers are trained to use life-saving skills in their local area.  We are pleased to announce that Tockwith now has its own CFR Group.
